Babalú
Babalú transforms a saturated orange landscape formed through the MIGRAR salt technique into a fragmented abstract nightlife scene.
Inspired by the salsa nightlife culture of Mexico City, the work explores the pleasure, rhythm, and collective experience of migration through reflections of light, mirrored surfaces, and bodies dancing beneath a disco ball.
